I appreciate this may of been asked before but I need some help/advice regarding the recovery of 25 LTC from an old Litecoin-QT wallet. Back in December 2013, I had the Litecoin-QT application on my MacBook Pro with 25 LTC in the wallet. Years later, once realising LTC had increased in value, I noticed the Litecoin-QT application had vanished from my MacBook (I have used the same MacBook all this time). Im pretty sure my coins are history but Ill ask anyway. So, I had the feathercoin client running on OSX when it locked up. Hard reboot, OS corrupted so had to do a restore. Got back up and running, the feathercoin client was corrupted. Did a clean install after doing a backup of the wallet.dat file. I did have other backups as well. The issue which I guess Im just looking for confirmation on: I had consolidated all my FTC to a single new wallet last month. I foolishly did not do a backup after consolidating. When you create a new receive wallet is a new private key send wallet also created? I ask because all wallet.dat files I have backed up and tried with the client will sync up and show a zero coin balance. Pretty safe to assume my coins are gone? Yes, I consolidated all coins into a new receive wallet on 11/20. 11/29 is when the client was syncing after signing into to my MacBook, everything froze up and would not respond to anything so I had to do a forced shutdown. Started back up and it gave me a corrupt file system message so I went into recovery to restore from the built in recovery partition. Once I was able to boot up and sign in again the feathercoin along with all other installed applications was grayed out in my applications menu. When I clicked on it to launch it gave me an application corrupt message. So, I looked for the location of my wallet.dat file. I found two. I did use the same software and same OS on my old PC, I just copied the wallet.dat to my new computer. Now I just can't figure out how Dash Core will by default load my old wallet. Short Version: Windows 10 installed on M.2 toshiba 256gb SSD, Lost a file, Had File History Setup To a 3TB spinning hard drive, but for some reason I disabled it and deleted the backup files weeks BEFORE I noticed I was missing a file (Litecoin Wallet.Dat file). I know for sure it was running at the time when I file was still on the SSD. The second I noticed my mistake (be in two months later) I made a mirror image of my SSD and used the copy of the ssd for my primary OS drive, I did not use the original ssd to run Windows any more. I made one more mirror image before sending the original ssd in for professional data recovery. Being a SSD they were unable to get the file I needed. BUT data recovery on a conventional spinning drive is much more effective the say. Since I know I had file history setup at the time - there should be a copy of the file somewhere on the 3tb drive. I have now made a mirror image of the 3tb hard drive onto a new drive and removed the original - to preserve any deleted data. I just need to figure out what to look for. Does windows 10 Pro X64 'files history' compress or encrypt the backup (like w7 backup did), or can you just navigate the backed up file structure and see normal files (I do not think it works this way but I wish it did) . Where Is Litecoin Wallet.dat In Linux??
I have downloaded Litecoin-QT, waited it to sync with the network, and tested some mining with CGminer & P2Pool. Even that I mined few hours with about 1400kh/s yesterday, I don't still see anything on my wallet. And, I also tried to search for for the wallet.dat- file from my Linux, but there isn't such file anywhere in the system. I thought that this wallet.dat is generated automatically when client is started, but isn't it so?? What should I do to generate a wallet, and get my Litecoins from P2Pool to it? I have checked many times that the username (=wallet address) in the CGminer's configuration file is correct. Make sure that you can add a card
If you can't add a card to Wallet to use with Apple Pay, check Apple Pay on the System Status page. If there's an issue, try to add a card again after the issue is resolved.
If there is no issue, follow these steps to make sure you can add a card to Wallet:
- See if you're in a country or region that supports Apple Pay.
- Make sure you're using an eligible device.
- Update to the latest version of iOS, watchOS, or macOS.
- Check that you're using a supported card from a participating issuer.
- Sign in to iCloud with an Apple ID.
Apple Pay isn't available for children under 13. Age varies by country and region. In order to send and receive money with Apple Pay or receive the Apple Cash card, you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States. Try to add a card
After each step, see if you can add your card to Wallet:
- Make sure that you're in a supported country or region.
